i think i noticed in the trailers that kramer slips all the way down to the floor squirming with the sucker in the mouth. in the actual episode, though, i don't recall he fell all the way, he just got to react to the sucker, but the scene was cut to something else.
is this right or did i miss the act? i was eager to watch it since i saw the commercial ...

Perhaps. I think it might be rated as "up there"; but, not in the top five.
George's use of the "George says. . ." bit; was, in my opinon, kind of contrived. Take away that speech mannerism in the scene with _Steinbrenner_ and the scene wouldn't have worked nearly as well. I also thought George C. gave up to easy in that scene too.
Cosmo's stuff, on the other hand, was first rate. his drinking water with the novacained mouth was a absolutley hilarious and right on target. Everyone identifies with that. His facial reactions at the Torme dinner is one of his finest. I was laughing outloud at most everything he did. The "Jimmy says. . ." thing, when George started using it, naw. In short, it wasn't about "nothing". The rest of the show was.
Elaine was her usual terrific self. I love her expressive face.
Jerry, once again stepping back and letting other's shine. He deserves every penny of what he's being paid and will get paid.
I feel the "Jimmy says" will be in the top 20 maybe, (thanks to Cosmo) but not in the top five. "The Contest" will be #1.
