This past weekend, I went to see "Scent of a Woman" in Greenwich, CT. (Great movie, by the way - one of the best I've ever seen).

Anyway, just as the movie was starting, tons of people, from all parts of the theater started yelling...

    "George...!"

"Elaine!"

"Kramer!"

"Jerry!"

It went on for a few minutes. It was hilarious!!!!!

Actually, I just remembered something else that happened. I got to the theater about 45 minutes before the movie started. There was a huge line outside. I went up to someone and asked if that was the line for "Scent of a Woman." He said "Yeah." Then he said, "But we all have tickets!" I immediately thought of the Seinfeld episode. Then, his buddy said... "This sounds like last week's Seinfeld!"

Anyway, it was interesting! Bill

My friends and I find ourselves getting into all sorts of Seinfeldesque situations and performing Seinfeldisms. At football games we now yell "Stella" (from Elaine on the pain killers in Florida). That is part of the appeal of the show. The stuff really does happen, and it's fun to clown around like they do. Plus they have some of the best expressions and conversation starters. Like when George meets Jerry at the restaurent and his first words are "I'm going straight to Hell"

It is pretty funny.

I know there were times in the past where someone I didn't know, in a public situation, made a reference to Seinfeld. I know I'm also guilty of doing it. The vague references are the best. Sooo, I was wondering if this sort of thing has ever happened to anyone else?

In a supermarket checkout line, I jokingly pointed out the Pez dispensers on the candy rack to my sister. Then, the woman behind us in line blurted out, "NO ONE eats Pez any more!" Kinda funny.

I was waiting for a table in a restaurant when the woman next to me sneezed. I naturally said, "You are sooooo good looking". It got quite a few laughs from other patrons. I actually never say "God bless you" any more.

My first indication that the guy in the office across the hall from me was a Seinfeld fan was when he began answering his phone, "Yo Yo Ma!"

I had to smile (and wish I'd thought of it first)
