Susan's Death

How did the public in the US react to the sequel where George's fianc�e dies? Where there any disapproval? I just tought that George's reaction was bit questionable... ;)

Perhaps surprisingly, the show actually got more written complaints from viewers when Elaine wanted to off the little yapping dog (with the help of Kramer and Newman).

As for George's reaction, anything else would've been out of character for him - the way it was handled was exactly the way true Seinfeld fans would've wanted it handled. It was classic Costanza!

On the Prodigy bulletin board for Seinfeld a lot of people liked it, but over half did not. They didn't mind Susan dying or even the way she died. They did not like the way the characters acted indifferently. At least they didn't laugh. They seemed kind of shocked ,or at least surprised, at least. It was a long nasty fight on the Prodigy Seinfeld bulletin board.
