It is "good ridence" (spelling Error) by Green Day.. It is on the "nimrod" CD.

When was it played on ER?

The doctor's (forget name, sorry, maybe Anspah?) son who was dying from leukemia was playing it on his cassettte player one day when he was in the hospital, right before he died. That's all I can remember and I'm not sure how accurate it is. I seem to have lost interest in ER lately. Especially the finale.
