Original George Father

I was looking for John Randolph, the original George dad, to realize they dubbed him with Jerry Stiller. I guess it makes for continuity sake, but it's neat to me to see the episodes as they aired without tampering. I remember Mr. Randolph doing a pretty good job in that role. Didn't he smak George in the head when he found out about the car. I don't think Stiller did in the reshoot and I missed that because I thought it was funny? Anyone agree?
