Seinfeld mention in Sliding Doors

I was watching the film Sliding Doors on TV last night (Sky Box Office - pay per view on UK satellite) and Gerry's friend was listening to him talk about the mess he's got into with his affair. His quote was:

'Well it makes waiting for the next episode of Seinfeld more pleasurable"

Presumably the original script mentioned another programme (its a UK film after all) and that it got changed for the US market.

What, like "Coronation St.", "Brookie", etc.

Talking of that sort of ref, did anyone see This Morning With Richard Not Judy (TMWRNJ) when Stu talks about how BBC are awful and Sky at least manage to show episodes of The Simpsons and Seinfeld at regular times.
