NYC Kramer Reality Tour

I heard Kenny Kramer on a local radio station this week, and he was talking about his tour. Have any of you actually gone on Kenny Kramer's tour in NY? Just curious as to your reactions - please post!!

He was also very concerned about offending the Soup Nazi. He even went to the extent to suggest that he should be called the Soup Nut from now on, since Nazi is a very bad thing to be calling anybody. (Point well taken) Anyway, he outlined his tips on how not to offend the Soup Nut, and his last encounter with him. Funny stuff.

Kramer's Reality Tour is a hoot. He and partner Bobby Brooks have put together a three hour tour that's easy-going, fun, and even a little bit informative. It's as if a couple of buddies are taking you around the city, showing you their New York. The hilite is, of course, the photo op at Tom's Restaurant at Broadway and 112. When I took the tour in March, Howard Stern's movie was just out, and an old lady poked me in the ribs, wondering what all the hub-bub was about, as we were standing around on the sidewalk, "Who's that, Howaad Stehrn?"

The pizza lunch at the end of the tour is no great scream, but you do get a knife and fork for your Snickers bar!
