I was recently in NYC and finally decided to seek out the, now infamous,
Soup Kitchen International- to find out it has been closed up! The awning is still there, but the windows are covered in paper and there is a "closed" sign. Sorry if this is a frequent topic around here, I couldn't find an FAQ. Did the Soup Nazi really flee to Argentina? Does anyone know if it will re-open?

AL "the soup man" told me he will reopen sometime in early Nov. I work right around the corner from his store. Al is not a nazi. He's a decent, very hard working guy, who has a low tolerance for kooks and imbeciles (like Elaine.)

I know the Soup Nazi is located on the upper west side. In fact, I was there last November. Tasty soup plus you got a roll, fruit, and a chocolate mint. I had the split pea, and the chicken mushroom. If you're really lucky, he may be offering the crab soup which my friend says is to die for. He does close in the summer time....However, I cannot remember the exact street he is located on. Can anyone help me out ( I think it is around 56th and 8th, maybe?)

I find it interesting that so many people disliked this episode. It might be my all-time favorite. The Soup-Nazi is the main part but the "smoopies between Jerry and his girl friend making George and Elaine sick was hysterical. Then when George started up with the "schmoopies" ..all Ican say is it made me laugh.
It was on here in Miami Monday night.
