New Season (Some marked spoilers at end)

There was an article in USA Today last Friday, detailing some of the major plot changes going on this season. Some of the non-spoiler details mention that the show will have 2 pre-season episodes on Aug 12 and Aug 19th. These will be a 2 part episode. The season premiere on Sept 16 will be a one-hour season opener.

The episode 'The Keys' will be repeated next week on July 22. I assume that means we will have to suffer 3 weeks before we get to see Seinfeld again, especially since the Olympics will be running then. That will be bad enough after missing out on Jerry's cancelled Atlantic City appearance last weekend.

Tonight is a repeat of the 'The Nose Job'. Keep an eye open for Tawny Kitaen, she plays Jerry's "bubble headed babe".

Jerry was asked about his concerns about the competition from Home Improvement on ABC, which is moving up against his show. He just shrugged it off as not a problem: "What are you supposed to do, anti-tool jokes?"

The Aug 12 and 19 shows have George and Jerry going out to get Kramer back from Hollywood. There hoping to get someone from Murphy Brown to appear. Starting in the Sept. 16 opener, the show takes on a recursive twist. NBC will be trying to get Jerry to start a show. The article mentions that Jerry and George will team together to write the NBC series. I can't wait to see who they get to play he other's part. What a hoot it would be if they got Larry David to play George, especially since Larry has on screen experience already (on Fridays). The article also mentioned that other network types will be making cameo appearances.

I don't know who Tawny is, but the redhead was the chick from the new WKRP and was also in Bachelor Party (as the bride to be).

Dunno 'bout these other appearances, but that was Tawny Kitaen on Seinfeld last night. Man, what a pitiful actress.

Tawny began her climb to stardom several years ago when she married the lead singer of the rock group Whitesnake, then appeared in several of their videos. She's amazing to watch in those videos, really.

Yeah, I thought that was her in those videos, as well as Bachelor Party. I don't remember her being quite so, er, amazing in Bachelor Party. That's why I was wondering if I was hallucinating or if she had major surgical enhancement. Her acting could certainly use some major enhancement, but I guess that would be asking too too too much.

Absolutely! The full title is "The Perils of Gwendolyn in the Land of the Yik-Yak". The Yik-Yak are a tribe of Amazonian women and their female, nude slaves. Tawni is forced to find the Yik-Yak and rescue someone, I forget who. To be honest, the plot details become less important as the film progresses.

I did too, and that was her! What were you looking at? :^)

Finally I got to see the episode that explains the deal with Kramers coat!

I hate to tell you but you only saw one of 4 episodes dealing with the coat. It started in The Parking Garage when George (not Jerry, as someone mentioned previously) comments about it being a nice jacket, and Kramer explains the whole story behinds it. The Cafe featured the story line where "the guy" comes back to get the jacket. The Tape features the bit about where Kramer and Elaine going to "the guy's" apartment, after he's in prison, to get it back. This features an extremely funny scene where the landloard lets Kramer in and tells him the story about the horrible women that "the guy" used to date -- Babs Kramer. The Nose Job featured the final sequence about the coat, that your referring to. Too bad these episodes weren't repeated in order. Hey, this should probably be added to the FAQ file.

Oops. I didn't have a chance to watch The Nose Job yet, and I thought I had watched that scene more recently. So I associated it with The Tape.
