Fans clarify the meaning of Jerry's "ledge" quip about Ray's theatrical Shakespearean speech and explain why Jerry refuses dinner, suspecting Ray stole his statue.

Jerry asks if he should be out on a ledge somewhere because of Ray's language (think Shakespeare, or...Mel Gibson).
Ray asks Jerry to stay for dinner. Jerry thinks Ray stole his statue, which would make Jerry a sucker if Ray were to display it right under Jerry's nose. So when Jerry says "Dinner's for suckers," it means that Jerry won't stay because he's no sucker, he knows about the statue.

That right, she do say tha same thing to Rava.
Mainly because Rava made a big scene in the elevator. Then she said that, "you (Elaine) and Jerry are jealous of our love. You're trying to destroy us."
People that talk like that should be arrested!
I think Elaine, however, would've been fine with the notion of Rava jumping, whereas Seinfeld was just ridiculing Ray.
Isn't this idea of "being out on a ledge" a simple reference by Jerry and Elaine that they think RAVA and RAY might be NUTS? Crazy? Mentally unstable? After all most people that end up "out on a ledge" are usually not mentally and/ or emtionally healthy. Just my opinion.
