George is not such a fantastic liar is he????????

One of George's known qualities is that he can lie his way in or out of a complicated situation, there are many egs, like faking blindness to get the book on tape, being the bad boy, PLENTY, but another one of his known characteristics is that he is terrible at keeping secrets, like Gary not having cancer, and others. Now, isn't that contradictory in a way, sure the two are not identical qualities, but they are so similar that to be good/bad at one means to be good/bad at the other; really, his being not blind was a *secret*, something he is terrible at keeping, so why was it easy for him??? Just look at it from the right view, see what I mean?????????

Ah, true, but in the Gary with cancer episode that was on recently, Gary mentioned how when playing poker with Jerry and/or others, George is easily readable, so he has trouble keeping stuff from others too it looks like?

Well, OK, now we have Gary and Jerry. That still leaves a pretty large number of people who George can lie to pretty well.

And as the other poster remarked, lying to someone, and keeping a secret from someone, are not really the same things. For example, I have many secrets, and yet I rarely if ever lie to anyone 8^)

The point is, the motivation is entirely different. Besides, Jerry knows him too well anyway.
