Larry David, the guy who co-created and wrote the show with Jerry in the begining, was actually in a contest like the one in "The Contest".

In the Stock Tip, Jerry lost money and in The Robbery, his apt. was robbed. In The Truth, he was audited by the IRS. As far as I know, all those things happened to him in real life. And of course, NBC asked him to do a pilot. Just Wondering wrote in message ...
