COMPLETE Seinfeld Episodes on CD-ROM

Hi, do you remember that guy who posted here a few weeks ago about selling the COMPLETE Seinfeld collection on disk in Real Video format? Well, I said what the hell and spent the 100 bucks on them.

Well, I got them today. And oh my are the awesome! I recommend that ALL of you get these! I'm watching Seinfeld while I work on my computer and I can take them with me everywhere I go with my lap top.

I too purchased a set from "seinfeldonvhs" and, like you, I couldn't be happier.

If anyone was considering it, but didn't want to risk dealing with an anonymous person across the Net for fear of being ripped off, you can deal with him with confidence. He delivered exactly what he promised, and even offered to replace a disk if I found any problems. I haven't had a chance to go through every episode, but I did sample each of the 24 disks and found nothing wrong.

Are the episodes in chronological order? ( assume they are). Also, are they from the original NBC airings (i.e. uncut)? Are they full screen vids, or no? Finally, exactly how long did it take to get them? Thanks.

Yes, I don't have them in front of me, but I believe each disk sah 6 or maybe 8 episodes and they're in the order in which the episodes were first aired.

Yes, IIRC they were created from an original master VHS copy that was given to production people after the final episode. No syndication cuts, and no network 'bug' in the corner of the screen.

You can view them in full screen, but the video quality suffers. I don't know what the exact resolution is, but it takes up about a quarter of the screen.

He waited the requisite 10 working days for my check to clear, then a little over a week later, the disks arrived. They came in 2 CD cases of 12 disks each for a total of 24. (The cases alone are worth $10.)

If I remember it correctly his eps are not in mpg. They're in .rm or something like that.

Yes, Real Media.

If you don't already have it, he includes the latst version on Disc 1.

Money comes and goes and, all things considered, $100 is not a lot of money.

This collection will last much longer. :-)

Is the audio quality good (bit rate)? and is the audio in stereo?
