puerto rican day

i was looking for the puerto rican day episode. i missed it when it originally aired and now they don't run it anymore. if anyone has a copy, i'd like to work something out. please e-mail back ([email]) not through the group.

Maybe I missed something, but why are they "not running" this episode anymore? Is that true, or will it be run in syndication? If not, I need to make a deal with someone as well! Jeremy

whooHoo!! Damn, i wish i'd have taped it on SP mode instead of EP! I didnt find it insulting (not that i'm puerto rican) I mean 1. The flag was lit on fire by accident 2. Kramer was TRYING to put it out 3.. Kramer was chased by a mob of Puerto ricans for what he did.

where's the offence? People are far too sensitive...and not just the Puerto ricans who complained...

NBC did announce that it won't air "Puerto Rican Day" again due to the response by that ethnic group. They thought it was insulting. So yes if you have it on tape, like i do, it will be a collectors item.

You know this is so pathetic - I am Indian - from India. Can anyone imagine how much my race and religeon has been ridiculed on TV with the guy at the 7-11 or quickimart or whatever saying "Oh yes how are you doing my friend. Thank you come again". Now did you see us complain? Of course not because were not babies like the Puerto Ricans who have no sense of humor.

if you can't laugh at yourself...you're either a polotician or a studio musician. It's true Indian people have been the subject of many tv jokes in the 90's. But that's what comedy is. George is the stereotypical "New York Jew", and look at Homer Simpson...if that's not the ideal "Ugly white American", I don't know what is!

NBC won't air ANY episode of Seinfeld ever again. The question was will it ever be shown in syndication, and the answer was that nobody here knows yet. Personally, I'm betting they will. Possibly in the next month even. (February sweeps tend to be the time for first-run syndication eps to start)

I've got mine. I'm just wondering if this episode was included in the package that Ted Turner bought, or if it was left out. Because if Turner owns the rights to air it, then it'll show up on TV. Turner won't care about the complainers. He gets the same sort of crackpots picketing and boycotting his Braves because they say the team nickname offends "Native Americans". It's like some sick twisted real-life version of "The Cigar Store Indian". Anyway, unlike NBC, Turner doesn't mind stepping on a toe or two.

On a positive note, if it never does get to syndication, it'll never have to endure those horrible syndication cuts just to fit the extra commercials in.

In the spirit of catering to the hypersensitive, I thought I'd share this little joke with you guys:
