Okay, I'll get flamed for this one, but what the hell...
Platonic relationship are not possible - period. All men have alterior motives (I speak from experience and have witnessed thousands more). The only reason a man is friends with a good looking girl (I limit this to good looking girls because Elaine is arguably one), is to try and get her into bed. Once the possibility of that passes, the friendship inevitably fades. This may occur over years, but it will occur! The man either marries another women or simply gives up. You may disagree all you want with this chauvenistic(sp?) vies, but if you look hard at these relationships, you will see that I am right.
