How much of Seinfeld is true???

I know that Seinfeld is based on Jerry and Larry David, and when the episodes about the pilot came on in reruns on the WB, I was curious how much of *that* story was true.

1. did Larry David originally reject NBC's offer and then have to beg to get it back?

• did Larry date a girl from NBC?

• did Larry and Michael Richards have problems?

• did the "real" Kramer want to play Kramer?

• was Julia Louis-Dreyfus obsessed w/ Jerry?

6. did Larry have a problem w/ Jason Alexander's portrayal of "George"?

• did Larry and Jerry have problems w/ "Joe DeVola"

• was Larry worried about his health?

• did Michael Richards steal abox of raisins?

I don't know why I want to know this stuff...I was just curious....

2. Did Larry date a girl from NBC? No, although he met his wife on the set of "Saturday Night Live," where they both worked.

3. Did Larry and Michael Richards have problems? Not at all.

4. Did the real Kramer want to play Kramer? Yes, and Larry told him he couldn't play Kramer. Kenny Kramer responded (just as Cosmo does), "I AM Kramer!"

5. Was Julia Louis-Dreyfus obsessed w/ Jerry? Not at all, she was long married by the time they hired her in 1990.

6. Did Larry have a problem w/ Jason Alexander's portrayal of George? Not in the least.

7. Did Larry and Jerry have problems w/ a "Joe Davola?" No. Joe Davola is a real guy who works at NBC, who kept bugging Jerry and Larry to put him in the show (Most if not all of the names used in the show belong to real people that Jerry and/or Larry know). Be careful what you ask for...they turned him into a psycho!

8. Was Larry worried about his health? No, but he very wasn't optimistic about his future...he didn't have much more self-esteem than George in those days.

9. Did Michael Richards steal a box of raisins? No.

Kramer's Reality Tour in NYC is extremely entertaining, and full of the "true stories" from the show. Imagine how hilarious it is to see Larry David's scalp covered with Chinese Baldness Cure (which did stink in real life).

Get there if you can. I've gone twice and am planning a third trip. BTW no cinnamon raisin pizza.
