the second spitter

Last spring while I was at a Dodgers spring training game, I met Roger McDowell. I asked him if he was the second spitter on Seinfeld (episode 34/The Boyfriend). He replied that he certainly was. Can I believe what I am hearing? The end of Seinfeld? Please let me know if this is true. If the show ever gets dumb, it should go out right away and not drag on, but the show is classic. Anyway, I don't mind seeing reruns, especially the ones I haven't seen. The show is good for at least another 3 seasons. Hopefully it will be like Cheers, which never got old.
