Just wondering if anyone else picked up on the fact that "the Elaine character" was not in the original script for the pilot (the one that Jerry and George completed on last week's show). I remember an interview with the real JS in which he said that NBC would only do the show if a female charcter was added to the cast.
Could this be in an upcoming episode?

John Bratt wrote a few frames back, about the real pilot vs. the virtual(?) pilot, and mentioned that the original pilot did not contain Elaine, the NBC executives said to add a female, and wondered if this might happen again in an upcoming episode. I reason thus:
No, because Elaine has read the pilot as written by Jerry and George, and (in the retaurant, right after the cleavage/ketchup incident) mentions that the "Elaine figure" might do something (I forget exactly what) differently than as written. Hence, she is in the virtual pilot already. Although, It could have been a great show or two. Such as:
Elaine does not consent to having an "Elaine figure" in the virtual pilot. The virtual pilot runs. NBC says there needs to be a female character. Jerry and George are forced to bargain with Elaine over an Elaine figure. Elaine, begrudginly, consents.
But it's too late for that, kiddies!!!
