My all time favorite line from Newman is during the episode that most of us agree had the worst guest star - Kathy Griffin.
Newman runs into her and Jerry at Monk's and comments how he saw her show 6 times and
"It is so great to see a show about something"
He then turns and glares at Jerry.
Tom - Who luvs The show so much he named his dog Newman so he could come home and greet him with a " Hello Newmannn"

There is a better one in which Jerry is in Newman's apartment and Newman slips in a clever comment about how Jerry's show is based on Jerry's "inane observations". Newman does air quotes while he says the word observations slowly and with a slight emphasis. The whole thing that Newman says is well worded but I can only remember the inane observations part. Anyone know which episode?

THE Kenny Rogers Chicken Episode. Kramer eyes Newman devouring the chicken and makes a move for one. Newman cups his hands around the container and growls. Priceless !

The look on Newman's face and the sincerity in his voice made him a more believable Mailman than Cliff of Cheers.
