Cable syndication rights

As I'm new to this newsgroup, I'm sure this question has been asked a dozen times, but I'll ask it anyway... I know one of the superstations or major cable station has bought the exclusive cable rights to the show for the not-too-distant future. My questions are: 1. What station was it? (I thought it was WTBS) 2. When does that start? (2001 or 2002, I seem to remember) 3. Will they be showing the full network-length versions of the episodes or just the 22 1/2 minute syndication versions?

I'll try to answer the questions as best as possible:

Ted Turner (Time Warner) bought the syndication rights. As of now NO schedule has been announced concerning times or EVEN stations- Remember Turner owns WTBS & TNT so it could be on one or both, plus I'm sure Turner will be able to offer the series for those who do not have cable. The year 2001 seems to ring a bell as to start date. Finally- as sad as it might be there is VERY LITTLE doubt in my mind that the shows will be shown in their syndication cut length. Turner wants to make money not show the world un-cut Seinfeld re-runs. Just a matter of dollars and cents.
