Well, the finale aired here last night, and i might say it was a much anticipated show considering the posts we have read for the past few months. Overall i would say that it was an entertaining episode, but not really all that great. I mean it was fun seeing all the old characters reappear again, but i'm not sure if that was the best way to end the whole show. I guess i was looking for a bit more closure, something to happen that we could say, well so thats it, thats what happened, thats the end. As it is, we dont know if they could be back or not. In many ways i'm not sorry to see the back of George and Elaine. George has become increasinglt frustrating and annoying and much less funny. All he seems to do is yell, shout and make sarcastic remarks, where is the neurotic, little man of the early seasons. As for Elaine, her power dressing matches her attitude of the later seasons, bitch. What happened to to the loveable Elaine.
Kramer and Jerry still remained the best part of the sitcom, and it is especially Kramer who could carry a show on his own. Maybe throw in Mickey and Newman, and there could be a whole new series in the making. Although he has become increasingly more slapstick, i never grow tired of watching him. Either way I'm sure going to miss Seinfeld, but at least i'll have 178 reruns to watch!
