but lets do it again what is your favorite episode? what is your least liked? mine are the episode when the reporter "outs" jerry and the spongebath scene is just too much! my least favorite is the backward episode, maybe because my add wont let me concentrate enough and also they go to india i get all confused but kramer gettng hit by the snowball is hilarious

I really like the backwards episode, after seeing it a number of times I find it very funny, and innovative for a sitcom, especially the part where Kramer's has the lollipop that gets bigger and bigger.

My guess is that they did it for the same reason people climb Mt. Everest, because they can, or think they can. And it impresses the hell out of your peers.

I too find it a very annoying episode and it is perhaps the only show I haven't seen straight through at one sitting. But I expect I have actually seen all of it in bits and pieces here and there.

Yes, the episode was a parody of Harold Pinter's book that was made into a 1983 film, "Betrayal" It starred Jeremy Irons and Ben Kingsley and the story unfolded in reverse as you learned more about the characters' histories. Hence the use of the name "Pinter" as the groom.

No they wouldn't and THAT is what made the show, Seinfeld, great! It appealed to people at many levels; from Kramer's great slap stick comedy, to the great dialogue, to more intellectual parodies. And they melded it so well. The Genius of Larry David!

All the time - much more laid back than "Seinfeld" but with the same Larry David touch - interwoven plots, good dialogue, interpersonal social and cultural issues, unexpected events that undermine Larry's good intentions,...

It is very clever and funny but not every one relates to it.

Can't think of absolute number 1 favorite, but my least favorite is the one where Jerry is doing part of his act to some guy in a hospital bed (don't remember the ep name). I remember there wasn't much of anything funny in it if I recall correctly.
