"The Voice" all new episode

What did everyone think of this week's episode? I thought it was great, better than the season premeire was. I loved the George situation, but the "Helloooo"s got kinda dumb afterwhile. It was all funny in the end, though.

Much better than the season premiere. Rediscovered many things that made the show: interaction between the main four characters, plot lines becoming intertwined, scenes at Monk's, etc. Still not great, but I laughed a lot more than during the premiere and didn't feel cheated afterwards. The voice thing was a little much. And Jerry seemed a little too concerned with what everyone else thought; he has always struck me as more independent than that. Overall, a solid B. Much closer to being about nothing. Maybe there is hope...

Well, just wanted to say goodbye. I used to love this ng, but lately I've hated coming here. So many people telling me that the show I love isn't any good anymore. When I try to respond in some kind of way I get ignorant flames full of dull-witted attacks on my brain, etc.

Life is short, baby. I love Seinfeld. Some episodes are better than others; so be it.

I can't take the freaking harranguing that passes through most of this group.

Since I have dared to comment upon the civility of the messages posted in this newsgroup, I will award you an honorable mention. I have noted (and appreciated) that you try to calm down the discourse when it gets totally out of control. However, if you aspire to the crown, you might consider excising personal comments such as that about the Ph.D.

Having become a master of sarcasm, I am trying to become more civil myself. If my first draft of a message contains snide remarks, I ask myself if I have facilitated communication, or simply shown off my nasty wit.

I realize that Seinfeld attracts a wide audience, including boys who have just learned to spell bad words, and trolls who make racist and antisemitic remarks from the safety of their computer rooms. There are also participants who, upon reflection, can edit their messages to improve their tone.

This newsgroup can be like the men's room at the bus station, or a cafeteria of humor (a laughateria!). I know where I prefer to hang out.
