Fans discuss a plot hole in "The Checks" where Japanese executives know Mr. Wilhelm worked for the Yankees despite no indication he did.
Towards the end when George is with the Japanese executives and Mr. Wilhelm is with the carpet cleaners, the Japanese execs say "With these two I wonder how the Yankees won the World Series."
My question is: How did they know that Mr. Wilhelm was with the Yankees? There doesn't seem to be anything that George says that indicates to the Japanese execs that he worked for the Yankees?

that's what you would be lead to believe if you based it on what was shown in the episode.
obviously they talked about george working.

You got a point. There is no way that they would know where Wilhelm worked.
