NBC called Jerry and said they were interested in putting his show about nothing on the air after ....how many years? He and George got all excited, had to move to California to do the show. As a token of NBC's good will, they offered a private plane to Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer to take them anywhere they wanted to go for a vacation before moving to California. They decided on Paris.
George was not impressed with the private plane, complained, yada yada. Kramer had water in his ear (can't remember why) and started jumping around on the plane to remove it. He fell into the cockpit on the pilot and knocked some controls askew. The plane started to dive. Elaine said she had something important to tell Jerry as they were going down - her eyes spoke of her love for him. Just then the plane straightened out, they landed in Massachusetts or someplace and were stuck there while the plane was repaired.
They were standing on the street discussing what to do until the plane was ready and a fat guy in a car across the street was being routed out of his car by a carjacker with a gun. Kramer filmed the whole thing while the other 3 laughed about the fat guy getting carjacked. The police came, told them they were being arrested for not enforcing the newly passed "Good Samaritan" law -- a citizen is supposed to help someone else in need when a crime is happening.
They were taken to jail where they got a call that the plane was ready to take them to Paris - they obviously couldn't go. They went to court where there was a parade of derogatory witnesses against them -- the Soup Nazi, Jerry's old girlfriends (including a sexy Teri Hatcher), the lady Jerry stole the loaf of bread from on the street, yada yada.
They were found guilty and sentenced to a year in jail. That's where they sat when the show closed. Jerry was then doing stand-up comedy in an orange jump suit and none of the prisoners was laughing -- neither was I.
There you have it. It sucked.
