I couldn't help but propose that last night's Seinfeld episode be considered a classic. This episode, with whatever unknown title, had all the ingredients of a perfect episode. The show had great moments for the main 4 characters, and included a brilliant Newman sequence. The depiction of the arrangement between Jerry and Kramer showed brilliant continuity with the show's entire history, and may have been one of the few to cover Kramer's mooching properly. The girl with one dress meshed well with the pattern of unusual dating and break-ups that Jerry has always shown, but may have been a bit understated. The episode may have featured one of the great Elaine moments when she rang the bicycle bell when pinned under its weight. Jerry and George's conversation about the wash cycle was a classic portrayal about their discussions about nothing. George's reactions to such names as Pamela and Joan were superb, and may qualify for the list of great George quotes. The "controversial" Susan was as solid as usual in her reaction to the craziness of all those around her. I can't think of all the funny moments in the episode, but look forward to going home and watching it again. I think this show was one of the best in the last 2 years, and was more impressive than the Rye in its execution. That show had better ideas, but didn't flow as well as 2/1/96.
