Hi, Just would like to know if anyone has any idea how early today's rerun was made?
It is the episode, where Jerry has the friend coming over and later finds her engaged.
I was surprised at the number of instances Jerry did his standup.
Was Elaine a part of the regular team then?

Kramer knocked before coming inside and he asked to look into the refrigerator and George thought he was weird and tried not to talk to him. Plus...there was a whole lot of standup. Did anyone else notice that the entire wall facing the street in Jerry's apartment was missing. It was replaced by a wall of glass like a greenhouse. Also Jerry's sexual confidence approved as the show got popular, what is with George giving him advice.
I think it was one of the first episodes (?!?)

This was the first episode of "Seinfeld." It first played in 1989.
The original concept of "Seinfeld" was to show how Jerry got material for his standup routines. In several of the early shows, Jerry would be on stage doing standup, then act out Jerry's observations.
Elain joined the show for the second episode, in 1990.

Today's rerun was the very first Seinfeld ever. It was originally titled The Seinfeld Chronicles, and debuted on July 5, 1989. Notice Elaine was not even in the credits, and they didn't eat at Monk's but rather Pete's Luncheonette. And Kramer had flat hair.
