I heard another movie reference in last night's syndicated rerun: (and I LOVE this one!) Elaine (bored to tears with an obnoxious party guest she has the misfortune to be sitting next to...): "The Dingo ate your baby..." - - -a reference to that Merle Streep with-an-Australian-accent-this-time movie.

I don't now if a movie had been out on this case. But it is a real mess and tragedy. A couple were camping at the Ayer's rock in Australia some how their baby went disappeared in the morning, they were subsequent charged with murdering the baby, then appealed and exhonerated. Their defence were the baby being ate by the Dingo. There were baby's cloth and other incriminating evidence led to their conviction. Perhaps our Australian reader would fill us in.
