April 9 episode-first of the final five

We won't be seeing a new episode for awhile after tonight's episode "The Burning" (which is called one of Seinfeld's funniest episodes ever by TV Guide). Episode 173 (and the first of the final 5 episodes) will be called "The Bookstore" which will air on April 9th (also the date when Seinfeld's "real" final episode information finally comes out) and that episode is also being called "one of Seinfeld's best". It looks like Jerry is really gonna go out on top.

Is TV Guide considered to be an impartial voice on what is a good episode. Why can't Seinfeld produce a new half hour each week, instead of dragging out this season. One new episode followed by two or three weeks of repeats. This season has been the worst for that.

I may be incorrect, but I believe Seinfeld has done the same number of shows every season except of course for the first two...who's got hard numbers?

A season is supposed to compose of 22 episodes (equaling 22 million bucks for Jerry)

Jeez, be patient. If they hadn't shown any repeats then this season (22 episodes) would be over already and you'd probably be saying "That's it???!!! No more Seinfeld???!!! Why didn't they drag them out more???!!!"
