Just found this: Acording to Amazon you can sign up for the DVD and they will let the studio know how many customers are waiting for it and notify you when it is available.
If you have nothing against giving Amazon your email address I guess it would be worth a try.

if you dont feel comfy giving amazon info, put make a yahoo or hotmail acct and use that...thats what i do, have multiple email accts, so one is for corprate, one junk, one personal...works pretty well

Shouldn't all the DVD petition members be notified about this? - It looks like the closest thing to a market probe I've seen.
