Chinese restaurant - Landesburg?

In the Chinese restaurant episode, could that be Steve Landesburg (from Barney Miller) sitting by the door as the gang enters and then leaves.

why would Kramer call Jerry's father morty and morty would call him Mr Kramer?? also i'm compiling a funniest seinfeld scene ever so please post yours..

1) Kramer buys Jerry a two line phone in the episode where Jerry and George are "gay"--the entire scene where ..."Kramer, there's something wrong with the phone, hold on!"

2) The one from tonight's episode about the "kiss hello", where Jerry says "no more kisses hello!" and Kramer plants a big one on Jerry's mouth while George is walking in...George just walks out quietly. -PP

Perhaps Morty (Pop Seinfeld) feels uncomfortable calling someone by their surname without an appropriate prefix. Just 'Kramer' may be a bit too unconventional for him. (Although Morty is no stranger to being unconventional - see sports-jacket-at-Manya's-funeral episode). Its a guess, nothing more.
