I have missed a few episodes this year [not deliperately, of course], including the Betrayal. Just wondering if anyone can give me a summary of a paragraph or two. I don't really want one of those 1-2 line summaries a la tv guide, but just a little info about the plots surrounding each person. From what I've read it was a "backwards episode" which I can only interpret to mean like movies sometimes are, like Forrest Gump where they show the ending first, then the events before it. Anyway, yeah please and thank you for any input about this episode. Supposedly, it is in the top 10 of all time for most people.

It was a great episode and will most likely be repeated when they show the top 10 of all time starting later this month. It started with that Castle Rock logo that they normally show at the end, then the credits, and then the show began... or ended. They showed scenes that didn't make any sense, then they showed a scene like "5 minutes before" or something (this is how the whole show went, it was incredibly original and clever) and then everything made sense and it was hilarious. The "betrayal" part was that Jerry had slept with George's girlfriend. They were in some foreign country (India?) for a wedding. I don't really remember the whole thing at all. I remember George, instead of buying dress shoes for the wedding, painted his Timberlands black and lied about the size of them, too. It was a great episode. Sorry I can't be of any more help. "You can stuff your sorrys in a sack, mister!!"
OK, the gang (except Kramer) went to India for Sue Ellen Mischke's wedding, she was marrying Pinter, a guy that Elaine dated a few years back.
At the beginning of the show (which was the end, follow me here) Jerry and George run into Nina, who Jerry was friends with a few years ago. He hooked George and Nina up but ended up sleeping with her instead. Elaine found out and after George got her drunk (we all know the combination to you're vault) she tells him. Then he wants repricussions by being able to sleep with Elaine. ("That doesn't punish me, it punishes Elaine.")
Also FDR (Franklin Delano Romanowski, a neighbor in the building) used a Birthday wish to have Kramer drop dead, which Kramer wishes on a shooting star against his wish. His only way out was to have FDR throw an ice filled snowball at Kramer.
Great show, some good lines, including Pinter's parents... "don't go to India, they still have the plague there.. I mean, the plague. Puh-leease!", and George and his timberlands he always wore "I'm 5'7, 5'6, if I take them off I lose 2 inches"
Definately catch it in reruns soon, sure it'll be on.
