Kramer's first name is Cosmo and it will be out in Januray or February. I was told by a reliable source that this was leaked by a magazine that was recalled a few weeks ago. He did not tell me the name of the mag. and the new "issue" does not have the story in it!!
This magazine was none other than a tabloid. I am not sure which one because i don't read them. It was published in eye-weekly, a toronto magazine saying it was in a tabloid. I guess it all depends how much you believe the tabloids. I personally don't

So we finally know Kramer's first name. For those who missed last Thursday's episode of Seinfeld (Jan. 5/ 94), it was revealed that Kramer's first name is Cosmo. Now that people know what his first name is, does this mean they'll start calling him by that name?
I certainlly hope not. I can't get used to calling him Cosmo.
I'm disappointed that we found out Kramer's first name. It kind of ruins the mystique for me... I strive to be Kramer in my everyday life, but I can't aspire to be Cosmo.
I knew a guy who was nicknamed Cosmo. The o's were placeholders for the real nickname, CSM: Come Suck Me. I'm serious.
And I'm not suggesting that Kramer got his name the same way! :)

My guess had been that someone at the hospital had accidentally switched Kramer's first name with another baby's, and there really was someone out there named Isosceles. TV Guide jeered the idea of revealing his first name, claiming it would take away from Kramer's mystique, but I don't think it turned out so bad. The sight of Kramer strolling down the street with his mother, being greeted by "Hey, Cosmo!", and basking in all the attention was priceless.
