Get a grip!! Everyone who doesn't agree with you is a Nazi, eh? As I remember Hitler and his Nazis, they wanted to impose their will on everyone else. That pretty much describes you, my friend. Take you medication and get a job.

Okay, I know this shouldn't be in this news group, but I thought I would still mention it. I think it is really tasteless to compare someone who says she likes a certain shampoo (even though they do animal testing) to a group of people who killed so many Jewish people. I disagree with animal testing for the purpose of make up (etc), but I think it is important for curing HIV and Cancer etc. However, I didn't want to discuss this, I just wanted to say that the two things you compared are totally DIFFERENT.

Not according to true believers of the PETA movement. They believe there is a holocause going on right now, one in which non-human animals are dying. One of PETA's most famous members was quoted saying "A rat is a pig is a boy," and that was not taken out of context.

When PETA tries to court the public at large, they tend to bury the complete agenda of PETA under campaigns against furs (it's easy to turn the masses against the rich) and cosmetics testing (it's easy to ridicule things people do in the name of vanity). Rarely is it mentioned that the true agenda of PETA includes a belief in all animals (inc. humans) being equal. True PETA agenda also includes banning testing on animals regardless of benefit to humans? For example, PETA would object to animal testing that helps discover a vaccine for humans on the principle that human life is no more sacred than other animals' lives. Also, did you know that PETA wants to ultimately ban pet ownership?

Now, not all members of PETA are against owning pets, etc., but that is part of the PETA agenda, whether they themselves believe in it or not. PETA paints intelf in the public's eyes as one thing when they are really much more than that.

I apologize in advance for this off-topic response, but I felt that both sides of the story should be told. This is the last I will post about this topic in this newsgroup.
