Whine-Feld Trekkies

Are you guys going to start holding Whine-feld Conventions like the Trekkies? (Not that there's anything WRONG with that) Everybody could dress up as their favorite yuppie and hang out being hip, trendy and witty. If you've never watched the show and only came to this newsgroup afterthe announcement was made tha tit was over (this, you stated in a few other posts on this newsgroups under different threads) How do you know the catch phrase, "Not that there's anything WRONG with that?'" just curious, "Rick"..... As I stated in another reply, the so-called "catch phrase" was mentioned in the DMN article.....NOT original to the Whine-feld show, BTW. A yuppie is someone shallow and self-centered. DEFINITELY a yuppie show. 8-)

According to my dictionary, a yuppie is "a young college educated adult who is employed in a well paying profession and who lives and work in or near a large city" Derived from "Young Urban Professional, Y-U-P. Under that definition, how can Seinfeld be considered a yuppie AND boomer show, much less one or the other? Please show me a dictionary that says a yuppie is either shallow OR self-centered.
