Fans discuss the actress who plays Marla the virgin in the Seinfeld episode, identifying her as Jane Leeves, who also appeared on Murphy Brown and Frasier.

Before the Marla-the-virgin role, did that same actress play Miles Silverberg's girlfriend on "Murphy Brown" a few years ago????

In her first appearance in "Murphy Brown", Miles had never met the woman but though she sounded nice on the phone the few times he called at her place of work. So he invited her to dinner and asked her to pretend they had been seeing each other for a while, just to impress his visiting brother that he was successful in work & in life. She continued the girlfriend role for some more episodes.

I think the same actress presently plays Daphne on "Frasier".
