I just gotta say that i laughed my ass off when I read your post. Sorry...I guess. I just thought it sounded as if the writers suffered from lack of imagination when they wrote Ava's line. I mean, why would they use Jerry's address when it didn't have anything to do with the plot??

The writers were lazy in this case. Even if they meant to use the same building as Jerry, wouldn't George have exclaimed...

"129 West 81st st!! My best friend lives in that building! I spend more than half my life there!"

Jerry gives 129 West 81 Street when asked for his address during the lie detector test episode. Usually fake non-existent addresses are given in such situations; perhaps 900 West 81 Street which might be someplace out in the Hudson River if we were counting, (but that would have been a lie).

I always heard this as she sold the entire building to a new property management group. It is odd that no mention is made of Jerry's residence there, or perhaps, as you noted, this is the first mention of this particular address in the series. It certainly could have lead to more interesting discussion than peanut brittle.

Honestly, this episode is pretty painful, in more ways than one.
