Elaine and fax machines

Did anyone notice a fews days back when they showed the episode where Elaine was dating the guy who loved Karl Faldman furniture? He thought Jerry was poor, and Elaine told him in that sour tone that "Jerry doesn't have a fax machine". Was this supposed to suggest that Elaine did have one? Because we all know now that she doesn't. Remember the episode from earlier this year when Kramer tried to send all the faxes to her phone?

Obviously you answered your own question. If she did have one, then last night's 9pm show would have not been real, since her fax would have answered it. I don't have one at home, but I do at work. Maybe it meant she has one at work but not at home?

Did anyone notice that in The Hamptons the doctor mentioned to Elaine that the house was built by Mark Farbman - that's quite close to Karl Faldman!

Maybe Elaine wanted to ridicule Jerry even though she didn't have a fax and not admit she was fax-less.
