Let Tea keep the slot.
Move Single Guy to Sunday nights
Move Suddenly Susan to 8:30 _or vica versa
_do not_ move Tea from Thursday.
The Naked Truth is currently on trial right whilst Susan is taking a break?
OK, so far The revamped Naked Truth is funnier than Susan. I hope the ratings show this. Susan has to be a lot funner than it's first season when it returns!
NBC: Tea Leonie is the hottest woman on TV right now. She deserves Thursday!
I, too, think that Tea Leoni is one of the most attractive women on TV, and the mere presence of George Wendt in ANYTHING raises the class of the enterprise, BUT...
Two things: As long as "Seinfeld" and "ER" are the top-rated shows on TV, NBC will continue to use the 9:30 PM slot on Thursday nights as an "incubator" for new sitcoms (it was ironic and funny to see Grant Shaud as "The Devil" on "The Drew Carey Show" on a competing network the previous night say that one of the things that people sell their souls for is a slot between "Seinfeld" and "ER")...AND..
It is beginning to appear to me that there is some sort of "comedy homogenizer" over at NBC, which, sadly, seems to make every show look and sound like every other show. There must be some sort of "style-book" for the writers and producers over there that they all have to adhere to. I mean, can anyone perceive a difference between the premises, characters and plots of "Men Behaving Badly" and "Chicago Sons"; or "The Naked Truth" and "Suddenly Susan"; or "The Single Guy" and "Caroline In The City?" I sure can't! They all swim around in the same mediocre goo!
Hopefully, Tea will begin to get a little more individualistic, as in the original incarnation of her show on ABC.
I wish they'd give that great slot to "Men Behaving Badly"--- I think it fits in better with the Thursday night shows than Tea's... (IMHO)
