Glide Dental Floss?

Okay... so a co-worker of mine got to go to the big Seinfeld wrap party, and she was kind enough to bring me one of the bags o' goodies they were handing out. Among the items were a Tweety-bird Pez dispensor, a Twix bar, and a box of Tic-Tacs. Now, I know where -those- three came from, but the one that stumped me was a little package of Glide dental floss. What is this a reference to?

That would be from "The Sniffing Accountant" when Jerry and Newman are in Jerry's car waiting for Kramer to spy on Jerry's accountant. Jerry tells Newman he needs to try this floss, but Newman says he uses Dento-tape and Jerry calls him an idiot or something

Great scene. Then Newman gently lays the used floss/tape on the dashboard.

It may also have something to do with the fact that real-life Jerry is fanatical about his teeth. It's been said he flosses 6 times a day.

yeh but he uses it anyway, doesn't like it and then lies the floss along the dash board of Jerry's car. Jerry just looks at him.
