I've noticed in both Seinfeld and Larry Sanders that mailmen are the butt of jokes about 'going nuts and killing people' i think i heard of this happening once a few years ago, has it happened many times and if so can anyone give brief details?

There have been all too many cases of federal Postal employees returning to work with firearms and killing coworkers in a mad shooting spree.
