I'M TIRED OF YOU OF 'SEIN SNOBS'

Why don't you Seinfeld viewers who watched Seinfeld during the "Golden Age(First season)" of Seinfeld get you own newsgroup. alt.tv.seinfeldImgonnabitchabouttheresentepisodesbecauseIsawthefirstseason. I thought LAST season was good, and I thought THIS season is good(and yes, I will venture to say that I find them just as entertaining as the first season).

I fully agree with you. Seinfeld is as funny as it ever was. This bitching that the show is currently in some kind of "decline" goes on in the Simpsons NG too. I have very discriminating tastes, and I think that both Seinfeld and the Simpsons have managed to retain a consistently high level of writing quality throughout the years.

No offense, but if you're going to string a bunch of words together like that, it's important to make sure you get the spelling right. "Recent" is not spelled with an S, but with a C. At least until resently.

The difference between the old coots who like the old epsiodes and the young optimistic folks who like the new episodes is that the people who like the new episodes show their simple-mindedness by their articulation of the new episodes. In other words, with those who like the new epsiodes, it amounts to two simple phrases: "I liked it" "I didn't like it" That is about a deep as you guys go when describing your feelings of these new episodes - and when you see us old coots deeply articulate every episode it's just too much for you to handle so you thus come up with predictable blather like, "Hey, why you just get your own newsgroup?", "Just stop watching it then!"

Now that I have killfiled Tribble, I only get to see his trolls via other postings. I must say, I agree 100% with ratboy. I only started liking Seinfeld a year or so ago. The first one I ever saw was the Bookman episode. I thought it was dumb. The more I saw, the more I liked. Now, I like them all, both old and new. Actually, I may like the new a bit more than the old. The old get so irritating sometimes my husband and I just cringe and pucker like we've had a sourball! "Why do we watch this show? These people are so irritating!" But it's because we love to hate them....and it's so fun to laugh at them. Anyway, the jist of this post is to say we also like all the Seinfeld episodes, not just old or just new.
