OK what are your favourite episodes? I have a lot, but, I am curious what everyone elses are. I think two of the best ones I can think of, are the pigman episode, and the soup Nazi episode. Sooo funny! Those are just two of many though. Anyone else?

I couldn't pick a favorite if my life depended on it. Every last one is absolutely perfect- I have yet to see a bad episode. Long live Seinfeld!
My favourite of all is the proctologist / fusili Jerry / ASSMAN episode. This epiosode featured the best writing in that all the stories, as in all the better episodes, come together "in the end."

My top few favorites are:
"The Boyfriend" -- it's got Keith Hernandez, the "magic loogie", and "so you want to be my latex salesman!" Just thinking of George crashing on the floor with his pants around his ankles -- well, I'm speechless.
"The Opposite" -- when George does the opposite of every instinct he's ever had -- and it works! As George rises, Elaine falls, and Jerry as always is "Even Steven."
"The Switch" -- watching George and Jerry practically kill themselves to figure out a way to make "the roommate switch" is classic. If they devoted that much energy to finding a cure for cancer, they could probably do that too!
"The Marine Biologist" -- George's "the sea was angry that day my friends" monologue, and pulling the golf ball out of his pocket at the last minute, and Kramer asking, "is it a Titleist?" Laff riot!
"The Bizarro Jerry" -- for sheer out-of-left-field wackiness alone.
Ok I left one out when I wrote the original post.....I thought the pick was really really funny too.... I couldnt leave it out!
I love the episode where Elaine jokes that Jerry and George are "gay", and then it snowballs to where all these people think that they are gay!!!!!!!!!!!! Any one know what month & yr that played????????????

I like the one where Kenny Rogers Roasters opens across the street and it causes Jerry and Kramer to switch apartments. Then Jerry starts acting like Kramer and vice versa. I think the same episode is where Elaine buys George the sabel hat and then trys to replace it with a "rat hat"
I think the best episode was the second spitter one 9sorry, I've forgotten the name). It'a part one of two and it was in syndication the other day-- and I missed it! (I'm still beating myself up over this.) Everyone tells me that the Soup Nazi is their favorite-- i didn't think it was that good at all (in comparison with some of the truly genius episodes), and I can't understand why it's so well-liked!
"The Invitations" - truly daring and original. Kind of sums up the whole Seinfeld show, doesn't it?
Funniest episode: The Hamptons "I was in the pool! I was in the pool!"

The funniest episode has to be the one where George thinks the girl at the photo lab likes him so he has Kramer take 'boudoir' shots of him, which make their way into the hands of the gay owner - meanwhile Kramer has busted Jerry's CD player and tried to send it through the mail to get the insurance and Newman is trying to bust them... a classic... Also the one where Jerry is trying to do the roommate switch... "I'm not an orgy guy!!!"... Finally the one where George gets smarter when he stops having sex...
Those are probably my three faves, but I've yet to see one that didn't at least seem partially funny... - cheers - justin

The funniest episodes, because they are a tie: the TV guide episode, when george had sex in his parent's bed (probably the greatest scene which the Costanzas have ever had), and the one when the four of them were going to a party and George and kramer went to buy wine and Jerry and Elaine went to buy chocolate bobka.
My favorite, by far, is the episode where George's girlriend's Aunt dies and he has to go to the funeral with her. Remember the "double dipping"? The best line was when Kramer, George and Jerry were in the sauna and Kramer said, "Whew, it's like a sauna in here".

yes and George has to ask the berieved for the death certificate so he can get a discount on his airplane ticket. A classic sitcom!

What about the classic "soup Nazi" or "Master of your domain"? I can't beleive they actually let them air that episode. I read somewhere, that the only reason it was alowed to air, was because it was a last minute job, and Larry David simply insisted it be aired. It was Hillarious! Especially when Kramer (after seeing the naked women across the street) goes back to his apartement and then returns in 2 minutes, slams some money on the table and says "I'm out!!!" ROFL!!!!!!!! :-)
another great quote: after Elaine "caved" Seinfeld says "Oh my god, the queen is Dead!"

When George was a genius, his "Of course! Absolute zero!" revelation was hysterical! Then, at the end, after he had sex and was an idiot again, when he put the test tubes up to his head like alien antennae I almost lost it!!
I like the one with shrinkish. I also like the one when Kramer drops the Junior Mint during surgery

I don't like those "frustration" episodes...e.g. looking for the parked car, waiting for a table in the Chinese restaurant, getting bumped for babka.... Life offers enough frustrations on its own. Course, I guess it all depends on whether you dissociate from or associate with the characters. Anyone care to discuss the psychology of Seinfeld? (A course soon to be offered at Queens College, I'm sure.)
the cake is the episode where Jerry hit his girlfriend's key's in the tolet, George loses his keys in a pot hole, Kramer adoptes a highway, and Elanie moves into a new apartment to get Chinese food.
I personally like the one where Kramer "is" a pimp, and the one with Elaine's awesome dancing. Kills me every time when I hear that music and they show Kramer strutting down the street, and that dance of Elaine's is just too funny.

The switch, in which Jerry is involved in a menage a trois is my favorite episode. I also like the race in which Jerry chooses not to run (by the way it has been way too long since they have runned this episode).
