I justed wanted to ask a couple of things I've always wondered about 1) How much does it cost to buy a sitcom like Seinfeld by foreign tv stations? 2) When 2 actors in sitcoms have phone conversations, do they actually talk through the phone to each other?

1) By "buying a sitcom" do you mean the entire show? Or just a per-episode cost?
2) Usually not. They're often filmed on sets that are side-by-side, so if you tried to film them at the same time and had someone in one set talking to an actor on another set, the microphone would pick up the other person's voice off-camera.
They either have the actor simply fake it (considering they know their lines, and the phones don't really work), or they'll have a production assistant talk to the actor on the phone from another room.
