In a syndicated rerun that was shown here in NYC a few nights ago, Kramer said that he once lived on Third Avenue and 18th Street. Does anyone recall any other mention of Kramer's digs before he moved into the same building as Jerry? I'm curious about this only because I happen to live a few blocks from there. I'm not sure, but I think that the Third Avenue address was mentioned in the episode in which Kramer and George keep going from airport to airport, trying to meet Jerry and Elaine's flight.
If the "real" Kramer reads this, I'd be interested in his answer.
By the way, this could be an interesting source of material for Kramer. Two famous NYC jazz clubs (Fat Tuesday's and the old location of Tramp's) are close by. Stevie Wonder once owned a townhouse about two blocks away. The Betty Page pinups, now a cult item, were produced and distributed by a store in the neighborhood. Even seamier, the area was once a hangout for some pathetic-looking hookers. Kramer's old block was OK, but the neighborhood was quite colorful.
