1. Where do You live? 2. When did You first see Seinfeld and do You still see 'The Show' on your country?
My answers:
1. Finland 2. Fall 1997 they started to show Seinfeld on national TV (channel 4), although it did run on satellite (Canal+) earlier. Fall 200 all the episodes were seen once and then channel 4 showed reruns of some of the episodes and after that it stopped. I have about 170 episodes on tape, but still would like them all on DVD (wouldn't we all).

It was first shown at 11:00PM on Channel 9, who then sold
the rights to Channel 10 (ouch!). I remember thinking this is interesting,
a guy does a stand-up routine and they show clips relating to the subjects
he talks about. Had a cult following to start with, then BANG!, it took off.
Shown every night on Channel 10 at 7:00PM, and cable on Foxtel,
channel TV1 at 8:30PM.
The show is still very popular. I'm a Sales Rep and I find many (alot)
clients are fans when a subject arises that reminds me of Seinfeld.

As for when I see them, Paramount are showing 1 a day, at 00:30. (Don't get the earlier one on cable.) So, I see that.. They're currently showing episodes from Season 2.

I saw my first ever Sienfield (only to become a loyal Sienfieldian) in Detroit MI last Xmas. Unfortunately I don't remember which was the first episode that I saw: either it was Good Samaratarian Law or the other one in which Elain gets new friends. Whatever was that, I loved it on y first take ;-)

I remember seeing the The Bizarro Jerry/The Reverse Peephole/The Puerto Rican Day when they were first shown in the UK. However it took me until this summer to really get into the show. I watched Paramounts 5.30 daily episodes. I've now seen Good News, Bad News, the 1st season bar The Male Unbonding, some S2, S3, S4, most of S5, all S6 and am currently watching S7 on tape. S8 is currently on Paramount on Sundays 11.30. And I recently watched S9 when it was on BBC2. Paramount also still has the daily 17.30/00.35 shows. Last night for instance I watched 'The Deal'.
In NYC area - I actually once lived a few blocks from Tom's diner. (the diner used for Monk's diner exteriors).
I first saw the show during season 2 I think. When no one watched it and it almost tanked.
The show was failing. It was at that time Jerry appeared on highly-rated Howard Stern's radio show (approx. 25 million listeners daily) several times in an effort to promote it. This is what gave the ratings a shot in the arm it needed. This is what got the word-of-mouth thing going and the rest is history.
It's on twice daily in NYC. On the local Fox station.

2. When did You first see Seinfeld and do You still see 'The Show' on your country? I hate to admit this, but I was a late joiner. I refused to watch it when all my friends told me to. Suddenly, I watched one episode, the first one I ever saw was The Butter Shave when it first aired. I have watched almost on a daily basis since then. Finally due to syndication I saw it nightly at 11 on WPIX in NYC, from the beginning. Now its on twice daily on Fox, and i try to watch it both times. Ive seen just about every episode at least twice, and laugh uncontrolably every time i see an episode.

I started watching the show of the shows in the fall of 1995 while I was in the US. I watched both the new episodes on NBC and the re-runs on where-ever they were playing.
After coming back to Finland, I first watched the show on Swedish cabel, SVT1 was showing it, I think. I came by it just accidentally when flipping channels one night. They were showing episodes from the third season then, I think. That's when I started taping the show. When national TV here (channel 4) started showing it, I started taping also the early shows.
I've got 17 tapes full of them episodes, missing only one or few, and I watch them constantly. Given the fact that almost everything on TV nowadays suck, I'm glad that I will always have my huge collection of Seinfeld episodes where I can turn to.
Just 100% quality-TV there!

Couple of years ago. It is repeated by one of the commercial channels here at 7.00 p.m. weeknights, and also on satellite T.V. every day, which recently had a "Seinfest" where they screened every episode from the pilot to the finale, as well as "The Clip Show" and "Seinfeld And Friends" over three days. Would have liked to record it all but I had to work part of the time and had nobody here to change tapes :-(.
