Fans discuss the fictional Chinese restaurant Hunan's featured in The Secret Code episode and debate whether it was based on a real New York establishment.

The alleged place is "Hunan 5th Avenue" I think, but I don't believe it is a real place. The restaurant itself reminds me of a place on Park Avenue near Grand Central Station.
Maybe Kenny Kramer can shed some light on this.
