which show is this from???

hey,

I was watching the clip show part one (the one where the gang are going to the gang are preparing to go the movies).

I have seen all the episodes but there were two bits that I couldn't quite remeber which shows they were from/

First, there is a black sports car zooming by and then pulling over (no, its not the saab 900 covertiable), then after this you see a clip of Newman bold.

I would really apprictae it if someone could out me out of my misery and tell what episodes theses two clips might be from.

I'm not sure of the episode names, but the sports car one could be from "The Muffin Tops" (not sure if that's the episode title) and the one where Newman is bald is "The Haircut" (again, not sure if thats the actual title of the episode).

Yes, it is 'The Muffin Tops' and the second one is 'The Barber'. Bald Newman is at the very end of that episode, after the credits.

oh right, the reason why I havnt seen these bits cos I'v been watching the eps on downloaded avi files, i guess the recorder of the episodes didnt get to record right to the end.

Didn't someone here say that that's because of crappy scheduling/advertisments?

They trim some episodes, so the obvious place to start is the beginning monologue and the post credits scene.

Maybe I'll get flamed for implying that Seinfeld should be considered art in the same way as Van Gogh or Mozart - but would anyone cut the edges off 'Starry Night' so it fits in a better frame, or reduce the "Magic Flute" to three acts of 22 minutes so that the ad. breaks work out right?

On second thoughts; it's probably been done.

We're lucky in the UK (I think).

Although the odd Simpsons gets edited and loads of films are mucked about with; There's no way any channel boss would dream of removing anything from our classic sitcoms ('Hancock' - when it's shown, 'Steptoe and Son', 'The Likely Lads', 'Fawlty Towers', 'Porridge', 'Black Adder', 'Red Dwarf', 'Father Ted', LOG, 'The Office', Etc. - what have I missed?).

Sadly; I just know someone is going to offer evidence that they do.

Some network should take a leap and try the UK format - let shows run in their entirety, run however many commercials you want. Shows don't have to start on the half hour. How exotic it would be!!
