i just saw "the bro" episode last night, where the couch got stolen out of the hotel when jerry abandoned his post as the doorman. something confused me at the end, when poppy went to sit on the couch, they were like "poppy no!" why was it such a big deal that he sat on the couch? sorry, i know its a really dumb question, but it was really confusing! maybe i missed something. thanks! :)

The medical condition to which he referred was a reference to a previous appearance ("The Couch"), when he relieved himself after sitting on that same couch while in Jerry's apartment. That's why one cushion was turned over to hide a urine stain. Upon seeing Elaine, whose pro-abortion stance upsets him so much, he became agitated and needed to sit down again...
poppy once urinated on jerry's couch at his apartment (pee stain). they didn't want it to happen again!!
