george and newman

Hi all,

My boyfriend asked that I post this question for him. First, he suggested that George and Newman have never been in a scene together, but when I reminded him that they were both in "the parking space" episode--they were both out on the sidewalk arguing who had rights to the space--he ammended it to say they've never spoken to each other. Actually, as I write this, I'm recalling that they *did* speak to each other in that episode--didn't Newman make George let him try on his new hat? Yes, in "The Old Man". George asks Newman what he does for a living, and Newman proceeds with his "the mail just keeps coming and coming and coming.." speech.

When George is around Newman, George finally has someone he can look down upon!

I checked "The Old Man". Newman said hello to George when he came in. George DID ask Newman what he did for a living!!
